General questions
Dress code is Cocktail/Wedding Attire
Please dress up for the occasion. Suits and dresses/cocktail dresses are encouraged.
The celebration takes place outdoors on grass, so block heels or wedges are a safer bet than stilettos.
No registry. Having you there with us is the only gift we need!
Our wedding planner will be our point of contact on the day. Their details will be sent separately to guests who RSVP, especially those travelling from abroad.
Guests travelling from abroad
British nationals don’t need a visa to visit Brazil for stays under 90 days. For other nationalities, or to double check requirements before you travel, please see the official guidance: gov.uk – Brazil entry requirements
Yes, flights are on guests to book individually. We recommend flying into Guarulhos (GRU).
Brazil is largely card and Pix (the local instant payment system) based these days, so you won’t need much cash on hand. A little for small purchases is still handy. The currency is the Brazilian real (BRL).
The wedding is at the end of April, so expect warm days and cooler evenings. Pack light layers, a light jacket or wrap for the night, comfortable shoes for walking on natural grass terrain, and swimwear. It’s the countryside, so there will be the usual outdoor insects included! We’d recommend packing mosquito/insect repellent, just in case.
